The project proposes to improve the existing intersection of Jones Bridge Road and Morton Road in the City of Johns Creek. The total project length, is approximately 0.42 miles (0.33 miles along Jones Bridge Road and 0.09 miles along Morton Road). Existing right-of-way (ROW) is approximately 60 feet. Proposed ROW varies from approximately 60-80 feet. The proposed project includes 1) adding a left turn lane and a right turn lane on Jones Bridge Road at Morton Road and a right turn lane on Morton Road, 2) adding a left turn lane and a right turn lane on Jones Bridge Road at Indian Village Drive , 3) sidewalks will be added to the north side of Jones Bridge Road and on both sides of Morton Road, 4) a multi-use trail will be added on the south side of Jones Bridge Road, and 5) a new traffic signal will be constructed at this intersection.
