Abstract

The project consists of slight revisions of shoulder, drainage and intersection improvements at 34 small parcels along a 4.8 km length of Windsor Springs Road and along short lengths of several intersecting roads. The project is composed of four contiguous GDOT projects: GDOT Project Numbers STP-1105(4), STP-7007(6), BHSLB-1 105(5) and BRSLB-7007(7), which have P.I. numbers 245320, 250610, 245325 and 250615. The area of potential effect consists of 34 generally small, narrow strips of additional right-of-way or easement along Windsor Springs Road and six intersecting roads. These are parcels that were not fully surveyed during the original archeological survey of the project area in 2003. Many are narrow (3 m wide) strips adjacent to existing right-of-way, usually at intersections. Some are oddly shaped parcels flanking drainages. All were clearly marked on project maps supplied by the prime contractor.
