The proposed project would consist of the addition of 4.5-foot bike lanes along both sides of Main Street/North Stone Mountain Lithonia Road between Rockbridge Road and Mountain Street in the City of Stone Mountain, Georgia. The proposed improvements also would include the addition of a five-foot sidewalk, and curb and gutter on the east side of the roadway, and a rural section on the west side of the roadway. Existing right-of-way along the corridor varies from 40-60 feet. The proposed right-of-way width would vary from 50-60 feet. Total project length is approximately 1.6 miles.
