The project area is located in the northwest section of Jesup, Georgia. It is a rerouting of Lanes Bridge Road (GA 169) between the intersections with Spring Grove Road and West Cherry Street, passing over the Norfolk Southern Railroad line. The proposed' project length is approximately 1.3 km (0.81 mile), and the proposed right-of-way width varies between 24 to 76 m (80 to 250 feet). This development consists of rerouting Lanes Bridge Road to the east of the current corridor and creating a bridge over the existing rail line. The intersections with West Cherry Street and West Pine Street (US 341) will be reworked.
