The proposed project would widen and reconstruct U.S. 341 in Surrency beginning just west of the City limit of Surrency and proceeding easterly 1.0 mile to a point just east of the city limit. The existing 90 to 100 feet of right-of-way would be used with no additional right-of-way required. A survey consistent with the rights-of-way was surveyed for the length of the project. No significant archaeological resources were located within the proposed project corridor as described in paragraph two above. It is concluded, therefore, that the project would have no effect upon archaeological resources on or eligible for inclusion in the NRHP provided that the project conforms to that described above.
