Abstract

The proposed project would consist of replacing the bridge spanning Big Cypress Creek along CR 124 in Baker County. The existing bridge is a 120' X 24' concrete structure, and will be replaced with a 120' X 28' concrete structure. CR 124 will be closed during construction utilizing an off-site detour. Existing right-of-way is 100 feet, and an additional 10 feet of right-of-way is required on each side of the road. The project length is approximately 1200 feet. An archaeological survey consistent with the project description was conducted for the entire length of the project corridor. No existing or eligible National Register resources were located within the project's area of potential environmental effect.
