The proposed project would relocate and improve SR 22/SR 24 east of Milledgeville in Baldwin County. The proposed project would begin at CR 171 and extend eastward, primarily on new location, to end at the SR 22/SR 24 split, for a total distance of approximately 3.5 miles. In addition, CR 172 and SR 24 would be realigned to correct skewed intersections. Existing right-of-way varies from 50 to 200 feet. Required right of-way would include a maximum of approximately 300 feet. An archaeological survey consistent with the proposed project description was conducted for the entire length of the project corridor. No existing or eligible National Register resources were located within the project's area of potential environmental effect.
