Abstract

Project PR-160-1(009) allows for grading, drainage, base and surfacing on approximately 0.96 km (0.598 mi.) of roadway on CR 160. Also, the project includes the construction of a two-way left turn lane to CR 160 on SR 29/US 441. The proposed project on' CR 160 would begin at the intersection of SR 29/US 441 and CR 160 then continue northeasterly along CR 160 to an end point at the intersection of CR 160 and Ogden Road. Required right-of-way for this portion of the project will be 1.14 ha (2.81 ac). The proposed project along SR 29/US 441 would begin approximately 213.3 meters (700 feet) south and end approximately 304.8 meters (1000 feet) north of the intersection of SR 29/US 441 and CR 160 for an approximate total of 0.37 km (0.23 mi) of roadway. Required right-of-way for this portion of the project will be 0.52 ha (1.29 ac). An archaeological survey consistent with the proposed rights-of-way was conducted for the entire length of both project corridors. No existing or eligible National Register archaeological resources were located within the project's area of potential environmental effect.
