Abstract

The proposed project would widen and reconstruct the intersection of SR 211, CR 4, and SR 327 in Barrow County. The proposed project would provide left turn lanes and right turn lanes on all approaches, install a traffic signal, and shift the intersection to the south east to remove the existing skew. Sediment basin would also be required at various locations. The total project length would be approximately 1800 feet. The existing right-of-way is 60 feet for all three roads. Additional required right-of-way would vary from 25 feet to 150 feet. The concept changes that were surveyed for this reassessment are the addition of sediment basins, the shifting of the intersection to the south east, and an increase in required right-of-way. No existing or eligible National Register resources were located within the project's area of potential environmental effect.
