The proposed project would consist of the paving of 0.6 m (2 ft) of the existing shoulders of SR 124. The proposed project would begin at the Gwinnett/Barrow County line and would end at the SR 53 intersection in Jackson County. No additional right-of-way would be required for the completion of the proposed project. An archaeological survey consistent with the project description was conducted along the entire project corridor.
