The proposed project would consist of the paving of approximately 0.6 m (2 ft left and right) of the existing shoulders on US 129/SR 11. The project would begin at the curb and gutter section in Ocilla and will end at the intersection of SR 107 in Ben Hill County. All construction will be limited to the existing shoulders. An archaeological survey consistent with the project description was conducted along the approximately 7.7 km (4.8 mi) project corridor. No existing or eligible National Register archaeological resources were located within the project's area of potential environmental effect.
