Abstract

The proposed project would improve the intersection at SR 76 and CR 356 in the city of Nashville. The existing two-lane roadways would be widened 6 feet on each side to add a 12 foot turn lane and a curb and gutter to each quadrant. The existing right-of-way on SR 76 is 100 feet and 60 feet on CR 356. A maximum of 10 feet of additional right-of-way would be required on the northwest sides of both roads. Also miters would be needed on the southwest corner and northeast corner of the intersection. No existing or eligible National Register resources were located within the project's area of potential environmental effect.
