Abstract

On January 16 and 17, 1984, the author conducted cultural resource surveys on two proposed roads in the Toccoa Ranger District of the Chattahoochee National Forest in Fannin and Union Counties, Georgia. These roads, located on Cavender Ridge and Rocky Mountain and adjoining lands totaling 620 acres were examined by field reconnaissance which included subsurface testing. No cultural resources were located during these surveys. It is recommended that these proposed projects be cleared from impact to cultural resources.
