Abstract

Archaeological reconnaissance survey of Tract #1, an area Proposed for Parking-lot construction, revealed no significant cultural resources. It is recommended that construction in this area should proceed. Archaeological reconnaissance survey of Tract #2, an area proposed for cultivation and millet planting revealed five Potentially significant historic resources. It is recommended that either Phase I testing occur at these sites to gather additional information or that a protective buffer be established around each site prior to cultivation and planting.
