Abstract

Emergency repairs (Programmatic Categorical Exclusions (PCEs) to three county road right of way locations in Gwinnett County. Portions of roads destroyed by epic flooding in metro Atlanta area in September, 2009 were affected. These include the following street addresses: 243 Harmony Grove Road, 4270 Five Forks Trickum Road, and 2300 West Park Place Boulevard. The emergency repairs were completed in 2009 and 2010, prior to their cultural resource assessment. The work at 243 Harmony Grove Road consisted of repairs to the shoulder and slopes, replacement of the water main, repair of culvert headwalls, and replacement of damaged pavement. The work at 4270 Five Forks Trickum Road consisted of repairs to the shoulder and slopes and replacement of the water main. The repair work at 2300 West Park Place Boulevard consisted of replacing 120 feet of a triple 72-inch RCP culvert, and new culvert headwalls and rip rap outfall apron.
