Abstract

The proposed project consists of the widening of westbound Barrett Parkway to allow for an eight-foot raised median and the construction of an exclusive westbound lane from the 1-575 southbound exit ramp to the Mall Boulevard intersection. The 1-575 southbound ramp would be widened to create an additional right-turn lane between the 1-575 southbound exit ramp and Mall Boulevard and a southbound left-turn lane would be added on Mall Boulevard. Curb and gutter, a 5-foot sidewalk with 1.5-foot stamped and colored concrete strip, and a gravity wall would be constructed on the northern side of Barrett Parkway. A 4-foot raised median and 5-foot sidewalk would be constructed along the western side of Mall Boulevard. Existing ROW along Barrett Parkway is 144 feet and 80 feet along Mall Boulevard.
