Abstract

The project will improve the following streets in Ocilla, Irwin County: Cherry Street (60' City ROW), US 319/SR 32/4th Street (80' GDOT ROW) and US 129/SR 90/Irwin Avenue (80' GDOT ROW). The improvements along Cherry Street will begin at the intersection of 5th Street and terminate at the intersection of 3rd Street. The improvements along US 319/SR 32/4th Street will begin at the intersection of Beech Street and terminate at the intersection of US 129. The improvements along US 129/SR 90/Irwin Avenue will begin at the intersection of 2nd Street and terminate at the intersection of 3rd Street. The proposed scope of work for this project will replace inadequate sidewalks and lighting in all of the areas identified above. Additionally, landscaping and irrigation may be installed along Cherry Street within the city-owned ROW. The project is in the 14th Land District, Land Lot Nos. 74 and 81, and Georgia Militia District 1046. The proposed project will be approximately 0.36 miles in length.
