Abstract

This project proposes to construct eight foot sidewalks throughout the Sandtown Community. The proposed project length would be approximately 2 miles along Boat Rock Road, 0.5 mile along New Hope Road, and 1.9 miles along Cambellton Road. All work is anticipated to be undertaken within existing right of way, which varies throughout the project corridor. The project area along Campbellton Road will require isolated areas of new right of way that will not extend more than 50 feet beyond the existing right of way. The other segments of the project have not changed. Reevaluation Project Description: The project will construct a ten-foot sidewalk on both sides of Campbellton Road from Reynolds Road to Enon Road, a distance of approximately 2.0 miles. The limits and location along Campbellton Road have not changed since the previous reevaluation. There is a change to right-of-way (ROW) and easement. Previously the project required 2.5 acres of temporary easement, 0.1 acre of permanent easement, and no additional right-of-way. The current design would require additional 0.54 acres of rig-ht-of-way, 3.4 acres of temporary easement, and 0.59 acres of drainage easement.
