During the week of February 23, 2009, Brockington and Associates completed a background literature review and field investigations for a Phase I cultural resources survey for the Ronnie N. Horseman Tract II property, a proposed 4.7-acre expansion of the Berzelia Substation site in Columbia County, Georgia. A similar survey of the original planned expansion (Horseman Tract I) was completed and detailed in a previous letter (Franz 7 /15/08). The study methods, results, and recommendations for the current survey area are described below.
