On May 7, 10, and 12, 1976 a survey of the Knights Creek and Mud Creek wastewater treatment facility was performed in order to assess the impact of the proposed project upon cultural resources, as required by federal legislation implemented by 36 C.F.R. 800, 'Procedures for the Protection of Historic and Cultural Properties." The facility, as designed and described by Flood & Associates, Inc., includes approximately 49,000' of pipeline right-of-way and a 5 acre sewage treatment plant site. The survey required 3 ½ man days in the field by the author and an assistant, with an additional day for report preparation.
