Abstract

The proposed project was originally documented within a 2008 Survey Report for GDOT Project STP-0006-00(725) [PI #0006725]. The Georgia SHPO concurred with the findings of the draft survey report 3/31/08 and it was accepted as final 6/4/08.In 2008, the proposed project consisted of the construction of sidewalks along four roads in Douglas County. The proposed project proposed to link existing sidewalks with 5-foot sidewalks along the following streets: the east side of Dallas Highway/SR 92 from Brown Street to Malone Road, the south side of Arbor Parkway from SR 5 to Parkway Circle, the south side of Malone road from Dallas Highway/SR 92 to Hunters Ridge, and the north side of Stewart Parkway from SR 5 to the U.S. Post Office. Total project length was approximately 2 miles, and all construction was to occur within the existing right-of-way (ROW), which varies between 50 feet and 120 feet. Since that time, the proposed project has changed (Figures 1 & 2). GDOT Project STP-0006-00(725) [PI #0006725.
