The proposed project consists of the widening and the addition of turning lanes on SR 53 in the city of Calhoun. The project will begin approximately 221 m (725 ft) west of CS 814/W.C. Bryant Parkway at West May Street. It will end approximately 68.6 m (225 ft) east of SR 3/US 41 for a total length of 1.4 km (.84 mi). An archaeological survey consistent with the project description was conducted along the project corridor. No existing or potentially eligible National Register archaeological resources were located within the proposed project's area of potential environmental effect as described in paragraph two above. It is concluded, therefore, that the project will have no effect upon archaeological resources on or eligible for inclusion in the NRHP provided that the project conforms to that described above.".
