The current project area lies within the existing CSX rail bed. The area has been previously affected by road and railway construction, therefore a physical field survey was not conducted. Notes and digital photos document the project area.Development in the form of roadways and railroad beds limited shovel testing over the entirety of the project area. The original survey for the project was conducted by EPEI in 2008 and reported on a Negative Findings Short Form dated 8/25/08. An addendum to the original survey was conducted by EPEI in 2010 and reported on a Negative Findings Short Form dated 9/14/10.
