This project is part of an ongoing effort to re-purpose an abandoned railroad bed to create a pedestrian/bicycle trail starting at the intersection of Old Winterville Road and ending on East Broad Street in Athens, Georgia. The current survey was conducted at the request of O'Brien and Gere in response to an alteration of plans for a pathway through Dudley Park. The path will connect the raised rail corridor near the parking lot to the existing trail system through the park following the eastern edge of the upper field.
