On 2-3 June 1986, Mr. David L. McCullough, Archeologist, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, conducted a cultural resource survey at a 24 acre disposal tract in Chattahoochee County, Georgia. The survey was conducted in support of the Fort Benning Directorate of Engineering and Housing, Environmental Management Office in compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 (as amended) and AR 420-40. The survey was conducted in advance of excessing the property to the General Services Administration (GSA) for disposal and sale.
