Abstract

This project intends to improve two streets in Rockdale County, Georgia. The proposed project would consist  of upgrading Hardin Street/O'Kelly Street in Conyers, Georgia, to include provisions for continuous bicycle and pedestrian facilities and to improve the operations of the corridor. The project also proposes streetscape improvements in the form of planting strips to be added along the survey area. The project's proposed length is approximately 1 mile (1.62 kilometers), beginning at the intersection of Hardin Street and and Dogwood Drive and ending at the intersection of O'Kelly Street and Green Street. Existing right-of-way (ROW) is between 40 feet and 56 feet (12-17 meters).  Proposed ROW would be 50 feet (15 meters).
