The proposed project would add a right tum lane to the southbound lane of US 319/SR $5 and a traffic signal on US 82/SR 520 at the intersection of US 319/SR 35. The project is located within the city limits of Tifton, Georgia. The project limits are from the intersection of US 319/SR 35 and US 82/SR 520 (12.88 MP) tp approximately 362 feet north along US 319/SR 35 (12.94 MP). The design speed is 45 miles per hour (mph) an«!J the proposed typical section is an additional12-foot right turn lane added to the southbound lane of US 319/SR 35 with a five-foot sidewalk separated from the back of curb by a six-foot grass strip. The existing right-of-way is 100-105 feet. The proposed right-of-way will be an additional10 feet with a total of 1,119 square feet (0.03 acres).
