The proposed project consists of the widening and reconstruction of Macon Rd./SR 22 Spur from University Dr./CS 959 to Reese Rd./CS 2111. The existing typical section is a four-lane section with no median. The proposed typical section will be a four-lane section with a 20-foot median, turn lanes, and some side street work. The existing culvert at Cooper Creek will also have to be extended. The existing right-of-way varies from 63 to 84 feet. The proposed right-of-way will vary from 96 to 134 feet. The total length of this project is 1.31 miles.
