Abstract

This report documents the results of the cultural resources survey of a proposed 30 acre lake and associated borrow areas, and a six acre lake, for the Georgia North Industrial Park, Bartow County, Georgia, for Bartow Engineering & Development Consultants. The survey identified three sites, all prehistoric, within the survey area, and all three appeared to represent artifacts transported to the reservoirs as constituents of colluvium. The nature, extent, and significance of the upslope sites that generated those materials could not be determined, as all were outside of the study property. The report recommends no further investigations within the physical boundaries of the proposed reservoirs and borrow areas.
