A Phase I cultural resources survey was conducted for the proposed Wellstar Site in Paulding County, Georgia to locate and identify cultural resources within the project area, and to assess the significance of each resource. The proposed 13.4-hectare (33.5-acre) tract is located in southeastern Paulding County at the intersection of West Hiram Parkway and Highway 278, 8 kilometers west of Dallas, Georgia. Two archeological sites and one isolated find were found within the project area during the survey. These archeological resources are recommended ineligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
