Abstract

The proposed original project was surveyed and concurrence received in December 2000. The original project consisted of the replacement of the existing bridge on SR 16 over the Oconee River at the Putnam/Hancock County line. The proposed new bridge would be located 10' north of the existing bridge. The existing right-of-way on SR 16 is 200' with an additional 0-65' of right-of-way required. The original project remains the same except for the following: The proposed new bridge would now be located 45' north of the existing bridge. An additional 10-20' of right-of-way is required on the northeast side of SR 16 from station 134+00 to 156+94. The total length of this project remains 1 mile.
