The proposed project would widen and reconstruct US 341N/SR 11/Progess Avenue in Hawkinsville. The project begins near the US 341N and US 341S split and extends southeast to near SR 230; however, no improvements would be made between Commerce Street and SR 230. Fourth Street would be relocated to the east to improve the intersection; US 341S/SR 11 would also be realigned form intersection improvement at Broad Street. The length of project construction would be 0.9 miles; total length of the project is 2.2 miles. The existing right-of-way varies from 60 to 100 feet; construction would take place within the existing right-of-way.
