Project STP-8013 (1.1) would widen SR 22 Spur/Macon Road in Muscogee County. Also, the proposed project would include improvements to the Boxwood Boulevard/Auburn Avenue/Macon Road intersections. The proposed project on SR 22 Spur/Macon Road would begin at Rigdon Drive then continue northeasterly to an end point just southwest of I-185. The existing right-of-way on SR 22 Spur/Macon Road is approximately 27 meters (90 feet), while the additional required right-of-way would be a maximum of approximately 40 meters (130 feet) throughout the entire project area. An archaeological survey consistent with the proposed project description was conducted for the entire length of the project corridor.
