Abstract

Project M004262 would consist of milling, patching, resurfacing, striping, the rehabilitation of loop detectors, construction of rumble strips, and rehabilitation of the earthen shoulders along US 341/US 23/SR 19/SR 27 in Jeff Davis County. The project would extend from a point located approximately 90 feet north of the SR 135 Connector intersection to the bridge over the Ocmulgee River. Project implementation would also include the construction of Type A curb cut (wheelchair) ramps at several intersections in the city of Hazlehurst, Georgia. These intersections would include Gill Street, Pine Street, SR 135, North Tallahassee Street, North Williams Street, North Miller Street, Victor Street, Rose A venue, Colonial Drive, and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Project M004263 would consist of milling, resurfacing, striping, rehabilitation of loop detectors and the earthen shoulders along US 301/US 25/SR 73 in Bulloch County. The project would extend from a point just south of the bridge over Lotts Creek to a point approximately 180 feet south of Tillman Street. Project implementation would also include the construction of Type A and Type D curb cut (wheelchair) ramps at several intersections in the city of Statesboro, Georgia. These instructions would include Langston Chapel Road, Veterans Memorial Parkway, and Tillman Road (see attached Project Location Maps). All work would be restricted to existing right-of-way.
