The proposed project would extend Williams Road in north Columbus. Beginning at Fortson Road intersection the project would proceed easterly on new location to a point approximately 1,100 feet east of the Southern Railway. From this point the project would continue southeasterly on new location to the intersection of New Moon Road and Hamilton Road/U.S. 27 / S.R. 1. New Moon Road would be reconstructed for a distance of approximately 1,000 feet. A survey consistent with the proposed right-of-way was surveyed for the entire 1.1 mile length of the proposed project.
