The proposed project would create a Diverging Diamond Interchange at 1-75 and State Route (SR) 20 in Henry County (Figures 1 and 2). The interchange would consist of two through lanes and one left turn lane in each direction on the overpass, with pedestrian accommodations along the center of the bridge (GDOT Bridge #151-5063-0). The project would take place within the existing right-of-way (ROW) which varies from 80 feet on side roads to approximately 900 feet across the bridge and the 1-75 on and off ramps for 1-20.
