The project proposes to replace two structurally deficient bridges over the Satilla River Overflows on SR 252 in Charlton County. It also proposes to rework the shoulders and slopes to accommodate guardrail. Both new bridges are proposed to have a 36-foot wide bridge deck and be 180 feet in length. All work is proposed to take place within the existing right-of-way (ROW) which is 100 feet wide from centerline to each side. No required ROW or construction easement will be required. The total project is 0.85 mile in length.
