This project consists of the addition of passing lanes and intersection improvements along SR 53 between Tate and Holcomb in Pickens County. Previously the project has been defined as having two passing lanes; however, at this time, the project has changed to include only one eastbound passing lane, defined as running from MP 26.27 to MP 27.47. The project begins approximately at CR SO/Four Mile Church Rd. and ends approximately 625 feet west of Wilkie Rd.; it also intersects CR 38/Dell Moore Rd. and CR 367 /Timber Creek Drive.
