"In compliance with Section I 06 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, the advance protective buy acquisition, STP00-0004-00(915), Bartow County, has been surveyed with respect to archeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify and evaluate the significance of any archeological resources within the proposed project's area of potential environmental effect.
The proposed acquisition is for an advanced protective buy acquisition for Parcel 2 at the comer of SR 53and SR 140 in Bartow County. The total parcel size is 39.233 acres. The area to be acquired for the protective buy includes 2.233 acres of right-of-way.
