Abstract

On Thursday, March 20, 1975, the route for the Terrell Creek 9011 Relief Sewage Line was surveyed. The proposed route extends from Proctor Creek south on Hollywood Rd. right on Lotus and then follows Terrell Creek to a point between Pansy St. and Wadley St.

This is a densely populated residential area with little land surface that has not been altered by urban growth. The creek appears to overflow frequently. No surface material was found and there were no apparent archaeological or historical sites. The lower third of the route is in the vicinity of the Battle of Ezra Church, July 28, 1864. No trenches or fortifications were located or are known to exist in that area of the survey.

Although no sites were located, it is recommended that a qualified archaeologist be present when earth removal or alteration begins.
