The proposed project consists of the installation of warning device equipment on railroad right of way with signing and marking improvements. This project will also include the closing and obliteration of a GDOT private railroad crossing (6377600) that provides access to the Nahunta maintenance facility (Figures 1 and 2), and the ditch-lines underlying this access road will be reopened. A new driveway will also be constructed off of CR99/Industrial Park Road to continue providing access to the facility. All work will be conducted on GDOT owned property, and no new right-of-way or easements are required for this project
