The project involves the replacement of the bridge carrying Springs Road (SR 109) over Gala Creek under GDOT's Low Impact Bridge Program (UBP) in Pike County (Attachment 1). The existing bridge is structurally deficient end will be replaced. Design plans for the new project were not yet available at the time of the archaeological survey. Existing right-of-way (ROW) measures 70 feet No temporary roadways or bridges are proposed for the project.
