Abstract

This report documents the results of the cultural resource survey of the proposed Sandersville 230 kV loop transmission line corridor, Washington County, Georgia. The field work was conducted by the author and one field technician on April 8 and 9,1991. No archaeological or historic sites were located within the project area. One prehistoric isolated find was recorded, but does not represent a significant archaeological resource. No additional archaeological investigations are recommended prior to construction of the proposed transmission line.
