Phase I Archaeological Survey of Proposed Maintenance Improvements along SR 520 from College Creek to 0.08 Mile East of SR 25/303 in Glynn County, Georgia

Abstract

The proposed work consists of milling, patching, resurfacing, striping, raised pavement markers, four foot earth shoulder filling, and curb cuts (Table 1) for the installation of wheelchair ramps along a 6.088 mile section of SR 520 from College Creek Bridge to SR 25/SR 303 in Glynn County, Georgia (MP 6.675- MP 12.763). The project will take place within existing right-of-way (ROW) which varies throughout. The limits of construction will be five feet from the edge of pavement and all curb cuts will be located at the intersection of three state routes, SR 520, SR 303, and SR 25 (Figures 1-3).
