The Barnwell Road Enhanced Sidewalk and Intersection Improvements project consists of the addition of a 10-foot wide sidewalk along the western side of Barnwell Road from Holcomb Bridge Road to just south of Niblick Drive. A pedestrian bridge will be included for the Hogan Creek crossing. Intersection improvements will be performed for the following locations:
1. Barnwell Road at State Route (SR) 140/Holcomb Bridge Road (left and right turn lanes, through lane, and signal modification).
2. Barnwell Road at Sandy Creek Lane (traditional left turn lane).
3. Ellard Drive (left, right, through lanes, and signal modification).
The total length of the project is approximately .5 miles along Barnwell Road.
