Abstract

This report documents the results of the cultural resources survey of the proposed 250,000 square foot (5.7 acres) Elberton Substation site, Elbert County, Georgia. The field work was conducted by the Principal Investigator and one Senior Field Technician on August 2, 1991. No historic or prehistoric sites or isolated finds were discovered in the project area during the course of the literature search or field survey. Consequently, no additional archaeological investigations are recommended prior to construction of the proposed substation.
