Abstract

This project proposes to replace the existing insufficient bridge over Little Creek Tributary which is five miles south of Moultrie on State Route (SR) 111 in Colquitt County, Georgia (Figures 1 and 2). The existing bridge is 152 feet long by 45.6 feet wide with two 12 foot travel lanes and

9.5 foot shoulders. This bridge will be replaced with a bridge measuring 200 feet long by 40 feet wide with two 12 foot travel lanes and 8 foot shoulders. Preliminary plans show that the project will be approximately 1455 feet long, with existing right-of-way (ROW) of 100 feet, and proposed ROW varying from 120 to 175 feet.
