The project provided emergency repairs to a culvert located on Lynhurst Drive between Benjamin E. Mays Drive and Spreading Oak Drive in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. Flooding caused severe bank erosion downstream. To repair the damage, riprap was replaced at downstream wingwalls and on the embankment. The area of replaced riprap was approximately 25 feet long by 15 feet wide on each side, equaling 750 feet for both sides with additional materials added on top of this in the same area. All work occurred within existing right-of-way.
