Abstract

An archeological survey and assessment of historical properties was carried out in the area of proposed expansion at the Charlie Brown (formerly Fulton County) Airport, in Southwest Fulton County, Georgia. No archeological remains were found within the area of primary impact which would result from the proposed construction. In those areas of secondary impact, archeological remains in the form of a prehistoric occupation site and two historic cemeteries were located, however these sites are being impacted by other activities, ones not related in any way to the airport construction. A second report has been issued to the entities involved with the affected sites.
