The proposed project consists of minor improvements to widen the I-95 northbound exit ramp in order to provide an additional left turn lane, the addition of a second eastbound left turn lane on Airways Avenue using the existing raised median across the bridge over I-95, the widening of the I-95 northbound entrance ramp with an additional receiving lane to merge into one lane before the I-95 freeway merge, and the modification of the traffic signal phases and timing. All proposed work would occur within existing right-of-way.
Shovel testing was not conducted. Due to significant land alteration and development, the APE was visually examined and documented with photographs.
